Conference Panelist
Ryerson University
Three years of in person and on-line afternoon workshops and panels for Audible.com alongside producers Tim Warner and Kat Lambrix and most recently, fellow narrator, Vikas Adams.
“Having known and worked with Erin for over a decade, as a narrator and university workshop speaker for Audible Studios, I can say for sure that she is the ultimate professional. With her warm, fun and approachable demeanor, alongside her unique background as a director and editor for many years before her decade+ of narrating spoken word audio, she is an asset to any panel or workshop. I’ve always loved working with Erin and hope you will too!“
-Kat Lambrix, Senior Director, Audible
“Erin and Vikas were generous with their time and expertise in the Audible panel for Ryerson’s Faculty of Communication and Design as a whole and our 3rd and 4th year performance students specifically. They shared many of the hows of audiobook narration but also the tangible next steps for students in broadening their education. Beyond the great expertise and perspective they shared – which was excellent, insightful and very warmly received – it was a tremendous conversation for students to have toward the end of term. It was such a nice change of pace to have professionals talking with such excitement about the trajectory of their work in a moment where there is such a great deal of the discourse focused not on the ‘how’, but the ‘if’ around arts organizations surviving past the pandemic”.

Panelist: Audiobooks open to all conference participants. Panel- Timothy Warner from Audible, Sonia Vaillant from Penguin Random House Canada & Kim Handysides a VO artist, award winning Audiobook narrator.
Workshop intensive: 3hr intensive workshop with limited (sold out) participation. The whole group learned together and also got a PP presentation “intro to audiobook narration” as well as a handout covering this material.
“I met Erin Moon at VO north in her intensive and Audiobook panel and haven’t looked back. She is an incredible narrator and coach. Erin is my secret weapon when working on material for an audition or a demo. She is so knowledgeable at parsing the text and figuring out how close you as the narrator should be to the POV of the character. Erin knows how to put the clues in the text together like a puzzle and I always leave a session feeling more confident in my abilities. Oh top of that – I just love listening to her narration! I look forward to working with and listening to Erin for many years to come.”
–Intensive participant Amanda Berry, Vo artist and Audiobook narrator amandaberryvo.com

“Over my 15 years at RB I worked with Erin on several occasions as a presenter and a panelist and found her to be engaging and entertaining. Erin can hold together a room full of librarians with charm and wit. She related to the audience by speaking of her experiences. I would recommend Erin as an audiobook expert to appear on any panel or present to publishing industry groups or curious folk just looking to learn more about their preferred reading method of Audiobooks!”

“I can't overstate how wonderful Erin Moon is as a Voice Over workshop leader. Here depth of knowledge is unparalleled and she leads in a way that is clear, fun, informative and empathetic. People hoping to learn about VO work at all levels would be hard pressed to find a more gracious, knowledgeable and inspirational teacher. After taking one session on audiobook narration with her, I was able to book my first narration job for a series of books featured on Audible.com. Simply put, Erin Moon is one of the best workshop leaders in the biz.”
